Her professional journey continued with a position as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Florida, located in Haile Plantation, Gainesville, FL. Since 2003, she has been a vital part of the Sarasota community, providing compassionate pediatric care and making a lasting impact on countless families.
Dr. Southerland is married to a Sarasota-based gastroenterologist, and together, they have two children. Her passion for pediatrics and commitment to her community have earned her widespread recognition and respect.
